{"id":5934,"date":"2025-01-17T08:27:48","date_gmt":"2025-01-17T08:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/?p=5934"},"modified":"2025-01-30T10:13:08","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T10:13:08","slug":"besoins-et-technologies-les-publics-empeches-au-sein-des-services-dinformation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/besoins-et-technologies-les-publics-empeches-au-sein-des-services-dinformation\/","title":{"rendered":"Besoins et technologies: les Publics emp\u00each\u00e9s au sein des Services d&#8217;information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La s\u00e9ance du 19 d\u00e9cembre avait comme objectif d\u2019explorer quelques enjeux li\u00e9s aux Services d\u2019information (SI) que les intervenant-e-s (Abreu, Perreti, Fonseca et Reversy) en suivant la formulation l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/adbs.fr\/\">Association des professionnels de l&#8217;information et de la documentation <\/a>(ADBS), d\u00e9finissent dans un sens large comme \u00e9tant une quelconque <em>\u00ab\u00a0entit\u00e9 charg\u00e9e de r\u00e9pondre aux demandes, besoins et attentes d&#8217;information d&#8217;un public d\u00e9fini\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Cela comprend \u00e9videmment les biblioth\u00e8ques et les centres de documentation, mais \u00e9galement les bureaux de soutien &amp; d\u2019information, les plateformes d\u2019apprentissage en ligne, les mus\u00e9es etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fil rouge choisi pour broder l\u2019expos\u00e9 de la s\u00e9ance est celui de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019information pour les <strong>publics emp\u00each\u00e9s (PU)<\/strong>. \u00c0 nouveau, les intervenant-e-s ont soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019une conception \u00e9tendue d\u2019emp\u00eachement qui doit aujourd\u2019hui \u00eatre envisag\u00e9 au-del\u00e0 du simple handicap physique. On peut ainsi juxtaposer les publics emp\u00each\u00e9s avec ceux qui souffrent <strong>d\u2019un \u00e9loignement social, culturel, physiques, sensoriel, linguistique ou cognitif<\/strong> qui entraverait la libert\u00e9 et la pl\u00e9nitude de leur fruition d\u2019un SI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/accueil-public-empeches-handicap-bibliotheque-les-lilas-upklyak-1024x590.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5935\" srcset=\"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/accueil-public-empeches-handicap-bibliotheque-les-lilas-upklyak-1024x590.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/accueil-public-empeches-handicap-bibliotheque-les-lilas-upklyak-300x173.jpg 300w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/accueil-public-empeches-handicap-bibliotheque-les-lilas-upklyak-768x442.jpg 768w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/accueil-public-empeches-handicap-bibliotheque-les-lilas-upklyak.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><sub><sup>Source: Biblioth\u00e8que des Lilas<\/sup><\/sub><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En suivant l&#8217;ouvrage de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de Hirsch (2018), les intervenant-e-s ont soulign\u00e9 que la prise en compte de ces publics permet de remplir une des missions cruciales des SI, \u00e0 l\u2019occurrence celle de garantir <strong>l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019information<\/strong> et <strong>la libert\u00e9 intellectuelle <\/strong>des utilisateurs. Cela implique en revanche un travail assez complexe qui passe de la conception de SI eux-m\u00eames \u00e0 la mise \u00e0 disposition d\u2019outils et technologies adapt\u00e9s, en passant par la formation du personnel et par une d\u00e9marche proactive d\u2019implication des publics concern\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le pr\u00e9alable fondamental \u00e0 entreprendre dans chaque SI est l\u2019analyse des<strong> besoins sp\u00e9cifiques<\/strong> de chaque public emp\u00each\u00e9, sachant que parfois les usagers eux-m\u00eames n\u2019ont pas pris conscience de ces m\u00eames besoins et que les obstacles peuvent se combiner au sein d\u2019un m\u00eame public (ie. les d\u00e9tenus allophones). Pour cela il faut distinguer&nbsp;trois niveaux de besoins&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Micro<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;: cela concerne les besoins individuels par exemple relevant des capacit\u00e9s cognitive, connaissance linguistique etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Meso<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;: cela concerne le contexte sp\u00e9cifique dans lequel s\u2019inscrit le SI, par exemple si l\u2019on est dans un quartier d\u00e9favoris\u00e9 on peut supposer une <em>information literacy<\/em> assez faible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Macro<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;: cela concerne les structures soci\u00e9tales telles que l\u2019\u00e9volution d\u00e9mographique de la population ou technologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BIBLIOBUS-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BIBLIOBUS-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BIBLIOBUS-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BIBLIOBUS-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/campus.hesge.ch\/blog-master-is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/BIBLIOBUS.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><sup><sub>Bibliobus de l&#8217;Association Al Jisr servant les zones pe\u0301riurbaines et ruralese de Casablanca et Tanger <\/sub><\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Si l\u2019on prend l\u2019exemple des biblioth\u00e8ques, cette analyse permet de prendre en compte ces diff\u00e9rents besoins et les int\u00e9grer pour garantir un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la fois au SI lui-m\u00eame (ie. Bibliobus pour des zones rurales, acc\u00e8s pour les chaises roulantes) et \u00e0 ses collections (ie. Contenu multilingue, technologies d\u2019assistance telles que les appareils screen reader comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freedomscientific.com\/products\/software\/jaws\/\">Jaws<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En s\u2019appuyant sur la recherche men\u00e9e par Potnis et Mallary (2023), les intervenant-e-s ont mis en exergue que, m\u00eame lorsque les besoins des publics emp\u00each\u00e9s sont pris en compte, il peut y avoir une divergence entre les attentes des biblioth\u00e9caires et des usagers vis-\u00e0-vis des <strong>technologies d\u2019assistance (TA).<\/strong> L\u2019\u00e9tude pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e se concentre sur les biblioth\u00e8ques universitaires en interrogeant \u00e0 la fois des professionnels et des \u00e9tudiant-e-s en situation d\u2019handicap. Ils arrivent \u00e0 la conclusion que alors que les SI valorisent principalement l\u2019inclusion et le respect de leurs obligations l\u00e9gales, les \u00e9tudiant-e-s cherchent des TA qui leur permettent de <strong>s\u2019autonomiser <\/strong>et <strong>mieux r\u00e9aliser leurs t\u00e2ches acad\u00e9miques.<\/strong> En raison de ces \u00e9carts, il est crucial de cocr\u00e9er avec les publics emp\u00each\u00e9s les politiques d\u2019assistance et am\u00e9liorer la communication autour des technologies qui permettent d\u2019augmenter ses comp\u00e9tences informationnelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <strong>chatbots<\/strong> peuvent constituer un outil int\u00e9ressant dans ce sens, comme l\u2019ont mis en \u00e9vidence les intervenant-e-s \u00e0 partir de l\u2019article de Diouf et Marone (2023). Le chatbot est un programme informatique qui simule une conversation en r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des questions pos\u00e9es en langage naturel. Les atouts pour un service biblioth\u00e9caire sont nombreux \u00e0 partir d\u2019une meilleure gestion des t\u00e2ches routini\u00e8res&nbsp;jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la disponibilit\u00e9 en temps r\u00e9el 24h\/24h de certains services. En ce qui concerne les pu, les chatbots peuvent permettre une <strong>meilleure accessibilit\u00e9 aux SI<\/strong> pour ces personnes qui des difficult\u00e9s de communication (ie. Allophones, sourds-muets), de d\u00e9placement (ie. Mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite) ou qui sont \u00e9loign\u00e9s g\u00e9ographiquement du SI. L\u2019utilisation de chatbots ne vient pas en revanche sans <strong>risques<\/strong>.
