Since 2009 he runs the prolific non-for-profit space SALTS in Birsfelden, Basel but it is especially in the past 3 years that he has began to experiment with different public and nomadic projects and by challenging institutional presentations such as that of the Cahiers d’Artists in 2012 where artistic interventions where shown in the context of the city of Basel rather than in the exhibition halls. Assisting with the large scale performance project, 14 Rooms in 2013, the term living sculptures suggests to replace the object, asking the question, is there a possibility for the artwork to stay at home at night? And with the upcoming Parcours at Art Basel in 2016, the ideas around public sculpture (events) are being questioned in terms of a wider context, intercity collaborations and political networks.

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

18

post-5455","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-symposium
["GET
