SN-HedoREH
Swiss network for hedonic methods
in real estate and housing
Following the June 2007 Symposium on "Hedonic
methods in real estate and housing", which convened international
scholars and Swiss researchers and users of the hedonic approach applied
to housing and property markets, it was decided to create a network
of Swiss-based people working in this field.
The main objectives of the Swiss network for hedonic methods in
real estate and housing - SN-HedoREH are:
-
To share information on the development of the hedonic approach
applied to the Swiss housing and property markets
-
To exchange experiences and results on the application of
the hedonic model
-
To discuss and show the use of the hedonic approach in policy-making
(e.g. environmental policies, price indexes, asf)
-
To develop collaborations in the context of research projects,
mandates and expertises, and teaching
The Network is coordinated by:
- Andrea BARANZINI (Geneva School of Business Administration)
- José RAMIREZ (Geneva School of Business Administration)
- Caroline SCHAERER (Geneva School of Business Administration)
- Philippe THALMANN (Federal Institute of Technology, REME, Lausanne)
The Network is open to any person interested in the application
of the hedonic model to the Swiss housing and property markets:
researchers and users from universities, consulting firms, banks,
public administrations and non governmental organisations.
