Travel information

We provide below a few options to go from the main airports. In any case, we suggest you visit the website sbb.ch, or the SBB app, to verify all the information and last minute changes.

You can buy the train tickets directly at the station (with the machines or at the SBB office, both accepting card payments and cash in CHF). You can also buy the tickets directly with the SBB app.
→ If you plan to visit more of Switzerland by public transportation, you may consider buying the one-month half-fare card, which costs 120 CHF for foreigners and provides a 50% discount on (almost all) tickets. For other options please check the SBB website.
→ In some cases, it might be more convenient to buy the saver day pass.
Seat reservations are not needed, with the exception of very few touristic trains.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.
